Dimensions of the disc brooch amulet: 3.5 x 2.5 cm (including loop).
The Viking pendant in Borre style is available in bronze and silver plated.
The Borre style takes its name from the grave find of Borre in Vestfold, Norway, from the 9th to 10th century. The Borre style represents the second phase of the so-called Nordic griffin style and was particularly popular in eastern Scandinavia.
The Borrestil is characterized in particular by mirror-symmetrical motifs, such as circles and squares, which are often expressed in interlace ornamentation, such as ring chains and pretzel-like knots. Here, various mythical creatures are often connected to the geometric knot work, characterized by a shape reminiscent of mice.
