This remarkable Viking style hair bead was made after a braided motif from the so-called Thorleifs Cross on the Isle of Man.


Dimensions: 2.8 x 1 cm. Hole diameter 7 mm.


You can buy the hair bead in high-quality bronze or genuine silver-plated.
Alternatively, you can also order it in 925 sterling silver (please note delivery time).

For threading the Viking hair bead it is advisable to sharpen the tip of the hair with some hairs gel or water, so that it can be led more easily through the hole of the bead.

Before you pull on the hair bead, you can also use a small braid gum for very straight hair. This makes it easier to place the bead and also serves for a secure fit. A real Viking uses a piece of yarn to wrap the bead around the hair, of course in proper style...
