Link to the historical model...
The Haithabu Mjölnir measures 2.6 x 1.7 cm.
Made from high-quality bronze casting and also available in real silver-plated.
A black leather cord in 1 m length is included with the Mjölnir of Hedeby.
The Thor's hammer was the weapon of the Viking god Thor with which he fought his enemies. The Vikings therefore called the Thor's hammer Mjölnir, which means crusher or lightning.
In the 9th and 10th centuries, the Thor's hammer was very popular among the Vikings, as it was a way for the Old Believers to distance themselves from the emerging Christianity. It is interesting to note that Thor's hammers were mainly found in women's graves.
