This enchanting rock crystal bead from the Viking Age was modelled on the spherical Viking pendants from Gotland.

The original spherical Viking beads made of rock crystal date back to the 11th century AD and were found on the Swedish island of Gotland in various sizes and designs.

Like the originals from the Viking Age, we also offer this spherical Viking pendant with a perfectly cut sphere made of genuine rock crystal, whereby hardly any inclusions are visible in the clear and transparent one.

You can buy this bead in high-quality bronze or genuine silver-plated.

Dimensions 3.4 x 2.5 cm. The rock crystal sphere itself measures 22 mm.

A 1 metre long black leather strap is included with this Viking crystal pendant.

The rock crystal beads of the Vikings are impressive examples of medieval jewellery craftsmanship, and to this day are only known from the Swedish island of Gotland. Several complete necklaces made of perfectly cut rock crystal were found here, which were set in precious silver settings and are among the most remarkable works of art of Viking jewellery craftsmanship.
