The Venus amulet has the dimensions 3.5 x 1.5 cm.

The original Venus of Willendorf was discovered in 1908 during construction work on a railway in Willendorf in the Wachau region of Austria. It is a small, 11 cm high limestone figurine from the younger Palaeolithic Era and dates from 29,500 years ago.
The Venus of Willendorf is considered as one of the most famous finds in Austria and can be seen today in the Natural History Museum in Vienna.
Similar finds are the Venus of Dolní Věstonice in Moravia and the Venus of Moravany nad Váhom in Slovakia. The Venus figures of the Stone Age are regarded as fertility gods due to their distinctive female features and were possibly sacrificed with a religious background as a votive offering for fertility and prosperity.
