Strap end for a Merovingian belt.

The Alemannic strap end is inspired by an early medieval model found in the 5th - 6th century in Balingen and is suitable for belts 4 cm wide.

The belt end fits to our belt set from Balingen. Matching to this Alemannic strap end a belt buckle, counter mount and belt stud are available.

The Merovingian strap end fitting measures 5.8 x 3 cm and is suitable for early medieval belts of 4 cm width.

The Alemannic strap end is available in brass or silver color made from zinc casting.

On the back of the strap end there are two 5 mm long pins on which you simply put the small caps supplied and then attach them with a few light hammer blows.
