Alemannic belt set of the Merovingian Era.

This early medieval belt set for 2 cm width is based on a Merovingian find and consists of a buckle, strap end and belt fitting.

The original parts of this early medieval belt set were found in the Alemannic nobleman's grave 9 in the south German cemetery of Niederstotzingen and originally belonged to a Merovingian bridle made of silver-gilt bronze and dating to the late 6th century AD.

The dimensions of the Merovingian period belt set are as follows:
Belt buckle 6 x 2 cm
Belt end 7 x 2 cm
Belt fitting 5 x 1.6 cm

The Merovingian belt set from Niederstotzingen is available in brass or silver color. zinc casting.

On the back of the early medieval belt fittings there are 5 mm long pins, on which small caps supplied are simply placed and fixed with a few light hammer blows for fastening.
