Alemannic belt set of the Merovingian Era.
This early medieval belt set for 2 cm width is based on a Merovingian find and consists of a buckle, strap end and belt fitting.
The original parts of this early medieval belt set were found in the Alemannic nobleman's grave 9 in the south German cemetery of Niederstotzingen and originally belonged to a Merovingian bridle made of silver-gilt bronze and dating to the late 6th century AD.
