Zoomorphic serpent amulet from Gotland.
This filigree amulet was modelled on a historical pendant from the Vendel period that was found in Gotland in Bosavre near Stånga and dates to the end of the 7th century.
Openwork pendants depicting forming a Triskele in form of a serpent or ribbon-like animals are known from several finds from the Vendel period and seem to have parallels to contemporaneous Alemannic disc pendants from southern Germany.

In contrast to the historical original disc pendant with a diameter of about 6 cm, we have reduced the size of this replica to 3.5 cm for use as an amulet.
