Birka Crucifix - faithful replica.
Here you can buy the authentic replica of the so-called Birka Crucifix, a granulated cross pendant with filigree decoration based on a historical model from the Viking town of Birka.
The Birka crucifix was found in the grave of a
wealthy woman and is now in the Swedish Historical Museum under the inventory number SHM108914.

Interestingly, almost
identical Viking crucifixes with filigree granulation decoration have also been found in the Danish villages of Ketting and Nyborg.
The original pendant was made of silver in a
filigree granulation technique, whereas our replica is cast entirely in one piece, and the filigree depiction is magnificently expressed.
The Birka crucifix is made of high-quality
bronze and is also available in genuine
silver-plated.

A black
leather cord of 1 m length is included with the Birka crucifix.
