Viking pendant with Slavic granulation decoration.
This amulet was modelled on an original Viking pendant in Slavic granulation technique dating to the 10th century, which was found at Stora Ryk on Gotland / Sweden.
In addition to a magnificent brooch, the treasure from Stora Ryk contained a whole series of beads made of silver, semi-precious stones and glass, various pendants in silver and bronze as well as a necklace and is one of the most important jewellery finds on Gotland.
The original pendant was made from silver with elaborate granulation techniques which was typical of Slavic jewellery during the Viking Age.

In the granulated pendants of the Viking Age, small beads and fine wires were soldered onto the amulet in intricate detail work.
Our replica, on the other hand, is cast completely in one piece, whereby the filigree representation is magnificently expressed.
Dimensions: 3.6 x 3 cm.
This Viking jewellery is available in high-quality bronze and in genuine silver-plated.
A black leather cord in 1 m length for the Viking amulet is included.
In the Viking Age, it was very common, especially in the Slavic region, to decorate necklaces, brooches and beads with an elaborate, filigree granulation decoration in the form of fine silver wires, strings of beads and spheres, whereby the Slavic jewellery makers excellently understood how to produce small works of art in jewellery with the simplest of means.
