Medieval tryzub pendant of the Rus.

This medieval tryzub charm is modelled on Rurikid tamgas of the Rus, which were widespread in Ukraine in the 11th century.

Medieval tryzub pendants were a sign of the rule of St Vladimir I and identified the owner as being in his service

The medieval trident tamgas of the Rus Rurikid dynasty developed into the tryzub, which can be recognised today on the national coat of arms of Ukraine.

The medieval tryzub pendant has the dimensions are 3.1 x 1.8 cm.

You can buy this Rus trident charm in high-quality bronze or real silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time).

A 1 metre long black leather strap is included with the Rus tryzub pendant.

The Tryzup represents the so-called small national coat of arms of Ukraine and has historical roots, as historical evidence dates back to the Middle Ages, from the time of the Rus, who used the Tryzub as a symbol on coins and symbols of power from around 1000 AD.

Some legends surround the origin of the tryzub, but it probably has Tatar origins and somehow found its way onto the tamgas of the Rurikid dynasty in the early Middle Ages, where the tryzub was used as a symbol of power.
