Valknut pendant of the Vikings.
This striking Valknut pendant with the motif of the Odins knot is designed according to historical models from the Viking Age.
The triangular Valknut or Walnut is found on Viking rune stones, especially on Gotland, either in connection with the war god Odin on his horse Sleipnir, or standing together with a warrior on a horse or over a human sacrifice.
You can buy this Valknut pendant in bronze or in real silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time). Alloy...
A 1 metre long round leather strap is included.
The Valknut is also called Hrungnir's heart, for the Edda reports on this: "Hrungnir himself had a famous heart, which was of hard stone and with three protruding corners, just as the well-known elaborate scoring has been made ever since, which is called "Hrungnir's heart"." Hrungnir was a giant who challenged Odin in a contest and was eventually slain by Thor.
