Knife handle end plate made of 3 mm Damascus steel.
This rectangular disc of genuine Damascus steel is ideal as a finishing plate or as a fit on a knife handle.
The end plate is made of genuine wild damascus steel with 256 layers and increases the weight of the knife handle and gives it a high-quality look.
Due to its rectangular shape, the Damascus end plate can be ground to any shape after it is installed in the knife handle.
The Damascus steel end plate has the following dimensions: 40 x 30 x 3 mm.
Already in the knives of the Germanic tribes and in the Middle Ages, plates of metal were used decoratively between the blade and the wooden handle. Also several plates in a row with intermediate layers of horn and bone were used for the so-called medieval disc handle knives.
Since wild damascus steel has a wide variety of patterns and varieties, the damascus steel end plate shown here serves only as an approximate example, which may vary from the appearance of the parts supplied.
