Print product data sheet

Neck knife of genuine Damascus steel with 176 layers.

This neck knife is masterfully crafted from genuine Damascus steel and has a beautifully wooden handle made of fine walnut.

The blade for this magnificent Neck-Knife is forged from a single piece of 176 layered Damascus steel and sharpened.

The knife comes with a cowhide leather sheath and an adjustable leather strap that allows you to hang the neck knife, as the name suggests, around your neck. This way you can always carry the practical Neck-Knife with you, ready to hand.

Dimensions: Total length 11 cm, blade length 6 cm, blade width 2.8 cm.

The high-quality knife blade made of genuine Damascus steel with 176 layers and a hardness of 56 - 58 HCR Rockwell also requires special attention. Knives made of damask steel are characterised by both hardness and elasticity and a knife blade made of genuine damask steel is therefore both durable and unbreakable.

The blade of this neck knife is forged from two different steels in wild Damascus. When both types of steel are forged together into one knife, the result is a particularly beautiful and characterful flamed damascus pattern.

On the one hand, carbon steel AISI 1095 is used, a classic among knife steels, which as an unalloyed and stainless tool steel is very tough and easy to grind, with a solid service life.

On the other hand, AISI 4340 is used, a nickel-containing steel with good properties that creates beautiful bright sections and noble contrasts when used in Damascus steel.
