Miniature finger knife of damascus steel.
This miniature Germanic Iron Age finger knife was masterfully crafted from genuine damascus steel with 256 layers.
The Iron Age miniature knife is crafted from a single piece of Damascus steel and inspired by models from the Germanic Iron Age.
The term finger knife is explained by the fact that to handle this miniature knife, you simply put your index finger through the handle instead of grasping the entire knife handle with your hand - this makes it easy to wield for delicate work.
The Iron Age finger knife is sharpened and comes complete with a leather sheath and a lanyard.
Knife length 8 cm, knife width 3 cm, blade 5 cm.
The Iron Age miniature knife is forged from two different types of steel. One is AISI 4340 which is a hard tempered steel with a low carbon content, containing nickel and chromium as well as molybdenum and having a high toughness.
The other is 15N20, which is a nickel-containing steel with good properties that creates beautiful bright sections and noble contrasts when used in Damascus steel. If both types of steel are forged together to form a knife, the result is a damascus blade full of character.
The hardness of the blade is 58 to 60 HCR Rockwell.
