Beautifully designed spiral hooks, modelled on Celtic designs, are available in brass and silver finishes.

The Celtic spiral hook is ideal as a dress fastener or cloak clasp, but can also be used perfectly as a bag fastener or belt buckle.

The hook fastener is a truly striking addition to LARP and medieval costumes. Made from zamak castings.

Spiral hook diameter: 4 cm


The spiral is one of humanity’s oldest motifs. Among the Celts, the spiral was regarded as a symbol of the sun and therefore stood for growth and prosperity. The sun and its position in the sky determined the course of people’s lives. A clockwise spiral represented the waning winter sun, whilst a counter-clockwise spiral represented the great summer sun. The double spiral, on the other hand, symbolised the equinoxes – the beginning of spring and autumn.
