The original of this equal armed Viking brooch from the 10th century has been found in the Viking settlement Birka, located on the isle of Björkö in the Swedish Lake Mälaren near Stockholm. The type of this brooch is very rare and unique in the Viking Age.

The Birka brooch replica is made from bronze and in silver plated.

Dimensions: 6.5 x 2.8 cm.

The original of this Viking brooch was found in the black earth of the Viking settlement Birka (Grave 501) and published by Jan Petersen in the famous book Vikingetide smykker, 1928.
