Forged medieval iron brooch in large size.
Here you can buy a skilfully forged medieval iron brooch inspired by historical models of the Middle Ages.
The medieval brooch is forged from a twisted iron bar and is characterised by the artfully and elegantly intertwined ends, which make this iron brooch a real piece of jewellery.
Dimensions of the medieval brooch: 10 x 8 cm.
The forged brooch is ideal for fastening a cloak and is simply perfect for historical garb in Larp and medieval or Viking re-enactment.
Forged brooches were very common in the Middle Ages and especially in the Viking Age between 790 and 1060 and were used to fasten garments and cloaks, but iron brooches were also used in Roman times.
The pin of the iron brooch is inserted through the fabric of the cloak on the right shoulder and locked in place with the round part so that the brooch can no longer detach from the garment.
