Small Celtic brooch from the early Latène period.
Here you can buy an authentic Celtic brooch replica based on a historical find from the early Latène period.
This simple, small Celtic brooch dates to the early Latène period from 400 to 275 BC and is a typical representative of the La Tène 1 Ba type brooches, in which the often spherical foot was bent back in a wide curve to form a bow.
The historical model is a reading find from Wilshire in England and was made of bronze. Brooches of this type were widely used as garment clasps in the Celtic Iron Age and variants of this brooch in particular were found throughout Europe.
In this small version, the brooches were worn in pairs on the shoulders to hold the Celtic woman's dress together.
You can buy the Celtic brooch in high-quality bronze or genuine silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (please note the delivery time). Alloy...
The Latène brooch measures 4.3 x 11 x 0.9 cm and thus almost corresponds to the historical model.
