Roman belt fitting replica in bar shape.
This authentic replica of a Roman belt fitting is based on a historical model from the 3rd century.
A Roman fitting like this was used for the cingulum, the military belt worn by Roman legionaries. The Roman cingulum was usually decorated with a whole series of such fittings. These Roman belt fittings can be found in large numbers in the finds.
The small Roman cingulum fitting is available in brass or silver colour and made of zamakuss.
Roman belt fitting dimensions: 3 x 1 cm.
The Roman cingulum fitting has two 5 mm long pins on the back, onto which a small cap supplied is simply placed for fastening. The belt fitting is then fixed in place with a few light hammer blows.
