Viking Age strap end in Borre style.
The model for this Viking Age strap end was originally an almost 10 cm long tongue-shaped brooch and is now in the possession of the British Museum in London.
The find dates to the 9th century.

The Viking Age strap end in the Borre style measures 7.5 x 2.8 cm and is suitable for belts up to 3 cm wide.
The strap end is made of high-quality
bronze and is also available in
silver-plated.
Fastening:
As it is documented by historical examples, this Viking Age strap end also has four pins of 8 mm length on the back.
These are best bent slightly at the tip with round-nosed pliers and then simply tapped flat with a hammer.
