Medieval belt stud in form of a stylized Rose.

This belt stud in the shape of a rose is made after a historical fitting that dates to the late Middle Ages of the 14th to 15th centuries.
 
The dimensions of the medieval stud are 1.8 x 1.8 cm.

The belt stud "Rose" is made of high-quality bronze casting.

Fastening: There are two small pins on the back of the medieval rose stud. To attach the fitting, simply pass the pins through the corresponding holes in the leather. Use pliers to bend the tip of the pin slightly inwards. If you then tap the pins flat with a hammer, the tip will sink into the leather and the medieval belt stud will be stable and flat on the belt.


The heraldic rose, also known as the heraldic rose, is a very common figure in heraldry. It is modelled on the blossom of a five-petalled hedge rose and was already one of the preferred shield figures of the Germanic peoples. The reason for the heraldic use of the rose probably lies in its symbolism as a flower of love and happiness.

The rose was also associated with the female genitalia and menstruation. In the course of the Middle Ages, the rose appeared in Christian iconography as a symbol for invoking the Mother of God. In its filled variant, the rose became a symbol of secrecy and mystery.
