Money Cat - Medieval wallet.
This beautiful purse with the euphonious name Money Cat was a popular wallet in the Middle Ages for keeping your dear coins safe.
The money cat is simply slipped over the belt - this way it is always at hand, and it is still safely stored. Such wallets were still carried in the countryside until the 19th century.
The name money cat probably comes from the fact that they were once sewn from the elongated bellows of cats. But it could also be that the name comes from the fact that the folded money cat was worn over the belt and thus reminds one a little of a cat hanging limply in the hand. However...
Themedieval money cat holds a good handful of coins in both ends of the pouch, but it can also hold a whole cheque card, which should be very convenient for the modern knight.
To open the money pouch, simply pull one of the sliders to the other side and the contents slide into the centre of the money pouch with a slight swing.
In addition to the supple nappa leather in two colours, the money cat is distinguished above all by the artfully designed locking slides. These really make the money box a real eye-catcher and a truly noble accessory for the garb in larp and medieval re-enactment.
Four colour combinations are available:
