Pouch closure for medieval purses and bags.

This practical pouch closure consists of a horn stopper, leather loop, leather strap and two hollow rivets.

With the medieval pouch closure set you can easily create a stylish medieval purse or Viking bag that not only looks authentic but is also easy to handle.

The loop can simply be riveted to the bag and passed through a hole in the flap where it is securely closed with the horn stopper. In order not to lose it, it should be attached to the bag with the included leather strap.

The distance between the two rivet holes should be about 3 cm for a 3 mm thick leather, for thinner or thicker leather it may have to be slightly reduced or increased.

The hole in the bag lid can be square, but a round hole of 2 cm also works very well and may be easier to make.

The horn stopper measures. 5.5 x 1.5 cm.
The leather loop measures 8 x 1.5 cm.
The leather strap is 25 cm long.

The medieval bag closure is available with black or brown leather.
