Medieval strap fitting of the late Middle Ages.

Here you can buy a filigree strap fitting with openwork that is based on a medieval example from Germany.

The historical model for this medieval strap fitting is shown in the book "Weapons and Clothing of the Late Gothic Period".

The dimensions of the medieval strap fitting are 2 x 2 cm.

The fitting is made of high-quality bronze casting.

Fastening: As usual in the Middle Ages also on that strap fitting, there are four bronze pins on the back. To fasten the mount, simply insert the pins through the holes in the leather. It is best to use pliers to bend the tip of each pin inwards a little. If you then tap the pins with a hammer, the tip sinks into the leather and the medieval strap fitting is fixed solidely on the belt.
