Print manufacturer information

Decorative stud from the Viking Age in diamond shape.

This decorative stud is based on a Viking caftan clasp from Kievan Rus from the 10th century.

Diamond-shaped caftan clasps were not only known among the Varangians of Kievan Rus, but also among the Magyars, who had a great influence on the garments of the Eastern Vikings.

The motif of this magnificent Viking stud corresponds to a Viking Age find from the Ukrainian town of Chernigov.

The large Viking mount can be used as a fitting on medieval bags or Viking belts.
The fitting is available in brass or silver-coloured cast zamak.

Dimensions: 3.5 x 3.5 cm.

There are two 5 mm long pins on the back of the Viking decorative rivet, onto which the small cap supplied is simply placed and fixed in place with a few light taps with a hammer.
