Early medieval belt with strap end and three studs.
That medieval belt is based on the find of the buckle of Lagore, which originates from Ireland and dates to the 7th to 8th century.
The original buckle of Lagore was provided with a long stave with eyelet and measured 18 cm. It was suitable for belts of only 1.5 cm wide.
Our buckle interpretation has instead a larger size of 10.8 x 4.2 cm and fits for 3 cm wide belts.
The Lagore belt is long enough to be worn wrapped, as it was usual during the Middle Ages.
The early medieval leather belt is available in brown or black, with brass or silver coloured buckle and fittings made from zinc alloy.
Two sizes are available:
S: circumference 89 - 104 cm length 162 cm
L: circumference 102 - 117 cm length 180 cm
