The Celtic belt buckle from Lagore.
This remarkable Celtic belt buckle is based on the discovery of the early medieval buckle from Lagore in Ireland from the 7th to 8th century.
The original buckle from Lagore had a long bar with an eyelet and measured 18 cm. It was suitable for belts 1.5 cm wide.
Our replica measures 10.8 x 4.2 cm and is suitable for belts 3 cm wide
.
Today, the Lagore belt buckle can be found in the National Museum of Ireland.
The Celtic buckle has five rivet pins on the back, which can be easily attached to the leather with a few light hammer blows in combination with the enclosed rivet caps.
The Lagore belt buckle is made of zamak and is available in mesing and silver colours
