Alemannic belt of the Early Middle Ages.
The Alemannic belt, 2 cm wide, has a replica of an early medieval buckle based on a Merovingian find from the 6th century.
The belt buckle originally belonged to an early medieval buckle set and was found in the Alemannic burial 9 of Niederstotzingen. It belonged to a Merovingian bridle made of silver-gilt bronze from the late 6th century AD.
Unlike the historical originals, this Alemannic belt is equipped with a buckle with a normal spike and not with the spike plate that usually appears in the find material of this period.
The early medieval leather belt is available in brown or black with a brass or silver-coloured buckle made of zinc alloy.
Two sizes are available:
Belt S: length 165 cm circumference 92 - 107 cm
Belt L: length 180 cm circumference 105 - 120 cm
With its generous length, the Alemannic belt is perfect for wrapped wearing. The circumference can be easily reduced or enlarged with a pair of punch pliers and thus individually adjusted.
