Viking belt with bronze buckle in the Oseberg style.
The buckle on this 3 cm wide Viking belt was inspired by a belt buckle in the so-called Oseberg style, which was found on Gotland / Sweden and dates to the 9th century AD.
The Viking leather belt can be worn knotted due to its length and is therefore ideally suited for Viking and medieval reenactment garments. Two embossed lines along the sides also give the Viking belt a slim line.
Two sizes are available:
Belt N: Length 160 cm Circumference 90 - 108 cm
Belt EX: Length 175 cm Circumference 100 - 118 cm
The bronze buckle measures 7.7 x 4.2 cm.
The robust Viking belt is made of very hard-wearing cowhide leather 2.8 - 3.2 mm thick. The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather.
You can tell at first glance: This belt is characterised by longevity!
A neat leather belt for every situation in Viking and medieval reenactment, cut directly from the hide and not sewn, but sturdily riveted.
