Bulgarian amulet with head riding a horse.
This detailed replica of a horse amulet was made from a medieval find that dates to the 9th to 11th century AD.
The horse amulet shows the representation of a head, or mask, sitting on the back of a horse, or riding it. The exact meaning is unclear, possibly it goes back to the legendary tale of a beheaded man riding away on a horse.
The original horse amulet was found in Szentes in southern Hungary and is now in the possession of the British Museum in England. Link to the original horse-amulet...

Dimensions horse amulet: 2.5 x 2.5 cm.
The amulet is available in high-quality bronze or in genuine silver-plated.
