Spiral curly bead made of bronze wire.

Here you can buy a simple curly bead inspired by the pre-Christian spiral bangles of the Scandinavian Bronze Age.

In the Bronze Age, jewellery in the form of rings and bracelets was often made of bronze wire wound into spirals and is represented in abundance in the historical finds.

Link to a historical example...

The spiral is probably one of the oldest patterns in the history of mankind and was regarded by the people of the Bronze Age as an attribute of the sun and thus for growth and prosperity, since the sun was a decisive factor in the lives of the people of that time.

The right-handed spiral represents the waning winter sun, the left-handed spiral the sun of the summer half-year. The double spiral symbolized the equinox, the beginning of spring and autumn.

Dimensions of curly bead: 2.8 x 1 cm. Hole diameter 8 mm.

You can buy this curly bead in high-quality bronze and in real silver-plated.

For threading the curly bead it is advisable to sharpen the hair strand with some hair gel or water, so that it can be led more easily through the hole of the bead.
Before the curly bead is pulled on, you can also use a small beard rubber / braid rubber for very straight hair. This makes it easier to place the curly bead and also ensures a secure fit.
