Pendant with the Valkyrie of Hårby.

Here you can buy a reproduction with the Valkyrie of Hårby, that was made after a historical find from the Viking Age.

The Valkyrie of Hårby is a Viking figurine made of gilded silver that was found near the village of Hårby on the Danish island of Funen and dates to around 800 AD.

The original Valkyrie from Hårby is on display in the Viking Age exhibition at the Danish National Museum.

Like the original, the knotted plait of the Hårby Valkyrie is made in such a way that the figure can be worn as a pendant around the neck. But it also stands alone and can be used as a bag god.

Like the historical original, our replica has the dimensions 3.4 x 1.7 x 1.2 cm.

You can buy this Viking pendant in high-quality bronze or real silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time).

A black leather strap in 1 m length is included with the Valkyrie pendant.

The Hårby Valkyrie was discovered by an amateur archaeologist in 2012 and is a real sensation among the archaeological finds from the Viking Age.
The figurine is in the tradition of similar Viking Age Valkyrie figures of the 9th century AD, but unlike these, the Valkyrie of Hårby is unique due to its three-dimensional form.

The Hårby Valkyrie holds a sword in her right hand and a round shield in her left, her skirt reaches down to the ground and her hair is tied in a knot at the nape of her neck.
It is assumed that the figure represents one of the Valkyries, who in Norse mythology escorted the fallen warriors to Valhalla. Other interpretations point to a Nordic shield maiden or the goddess Freya.
