Print product data sheet

Small miniature Viking ball-pendant.

This miniature Viking ball-pendant is modelled on the spherical rock crystal pendants of the Viking Age from Gotland.

The inspiration for this Viking ball-pendant was an 11th century spherical Viking rock crystal pendant found on the Swedish island of Gotland.

Unlike the historical spherical model made of rock crystal, we offer this Viking ball-pendant with a sphere made of glass.

The setting is made of bronze and also available in real silver-plated.

Dimension 1,2 x 1.7 cm. A black leather strap in 1 m length is included.

Ball-pendants made of rock crystal are impressive evidence of Viking jewellery design and are so far only known from the Swedish island of Gotland. Complete necklaces made of rock crystal with silver settings and precious silver beads were found on Gotland and are among the most outstanding masterpieces of Viking Age jewellery craftsmanship.
