Large hand-forged knife from the Iron Age.
Here you can buy a hand-forged knife from the Iron Age, made according to historical models.
This large knife of the Germanic Iron Age, often called a Viking knife, has an elaborately twisted and elegantly curled handle.
The Iron Age knife is hand-forged from one piece of high-carbon steel and impresses with its rustic, matt black surface.
The knife is based on Germanic finds from the post-Christian Iron Age and is an ideal addition to garb in Viking and medieval reenactment.
These knives, forged in one piece, are often attributed to the Viking Age and sold as Viking knives. However, such knives do not appear in the finds from the Viking Age, but date around 1000 years earlier to the Germanic Iron Age.
The knife comes with a solid leather sheath and is sharpened.
The hardness of the knife is 54 to 56 HCR Rockwell.
