Medieval brass fork with maidenhead.
The maidenhead on the end of that brass fork was taken from a late medieval pewter spoon from England dating to 1440 to 1470 AD.
The head probably represents the head of the Virgin Mary.
The original of the spoon was mad of pewter and is shown today in the British Museum, London.
This medieval brass fork is a historical prop that is produced in small numbers and therefore does not have food law certification. Therefore we are obliged to the following notice: Prop - not certified for food contact.
