Hand-forged bottle opener.

This beautifully shaped bottle opener with a spiral-shaped handle is hand-forged from a single piece of iron.

The hand-forged bottle opener was inspired by the blacksmith's art of the Middle Ages and has a handle that has been skilfully forged into a spiral. A rustic accessory for the stylish medieval table.

The dimensions of the forged bottle opener are 10 x 3 cm.

The art of forging has been known since around 500 BC. Forging was first mastered by the peoples of antiquity and spread throughout Europe towards the end of the Hallstatt period. Romans, Celts and Germanic peoples extracted iron from so-called lawn iron ore in small smelting furnaces, which were in use until the early Middle Ages.
