Medieval ladle forged from iron.
The elegantly curved medieval ladle is forged by hand from iron and carefully treated with vegetable oil.
In the Middle Ages, ladles like this were an indispensable part of every household's inventory, as daily meals consisted mainly of soups, stews and porridges. A forged ladle like this one is therefore an ideal companion for historical everyday and camp life in larp and medieval re-enactment.
The handle of the ladle is nicely twisted and forged into a hook at the end. This makes it easy to hang the trowel anywhere in an "airy" way - on the one hand this saves space, but on the other hand it is good for the trowel, which is made of rustproof iron and should therefore be protected from moisture.
The medieval iron ladle measures 39 x 9 cm and is 3 cm deep.
The legislator in Germany requires a food law certification according to the Foodstuffs and Commodities Act (LFBG) for use with food. However, such a certification is very expensive and would have a negative impact on the favourable sales price. Thus, we offer this forged ladle quasi only as a prop, which at least by definition is not certified for food.
