Forged tripod, like used in the Middle Ages.
Here you can buy a hand-forged tripod that is designed according to historical models from the Middle Ages.
The medieval tripod consists of three twisted legs that are connected by a movable and beautifully forged hook. The feet of the medieval tripod have attached claws that ensure a secure stand.
A forged tripod is virtually indispensable for authentic representation in medieval re-enactment or LARP for cooking on an open fire. The medieval tripod can be set up in just a few steps and can be folded up again to save space.
The tripod is made of 8 mm wide, twisted square steel rods and can also hold larger weights without problems.
The forged tripod has the following dimensions:
Height 65 cm
Packing size 85 x 10 cm
Reseller information: If the tripod is ordered together with other items, we reserve the right to ship them separately to protect the rest of the order and charge additional postage.
The historical model for this medieval tripod was a Viking Age find from the ship grave of Oseberg, which had an overall length of about 1.25 m and a height of about 80 cm above the ground, ending in three small claws.
