Mouthpiece for a medieval or Viking bugle horn.
This high-quality horn bugle mouthpiece is made of solid brass. It is not equipped with a voice, but the tone is modulated solely by the pressure of the lips, as with a trumpet.
The bugle horn mouthpiece has a highly polished surface and produces a pleasantly rich and clean tone when blown.
Simply ideal for making your own good-sounding Viking sounding horn or medieval bugle.
The blowing horn mouthpiece can also be purchased already assembled with a horn: 04 Rufhorn - Gr.
The specially shaped funnel of the mouthpiece makes it easy to produce a rich, powerful sound even with little practice.
Small horn bugles are usually a little harder to blow than large ones, but produce a loud, bright sound, whereas a large bugle is easier to blow and produces a deep, dark tone. The straighter the horn, the more powerful the sound.
The diameter of the horn's inlet is 2 cm and it is 2.5 cm deep. The base of the mouth is 2 cm. 5 cm long.
The diameter of the horn should ideally not be too wide at the tip so that the horn bugle mouthpiece can be attached more easily and not too much material has to be taken off the tip of the horn. With a little glue or a metal pin, the call horn mouthpiece can then be attached to the sounding horn in a few easy steps.
