Viking broadhead arrow tip replica.

Here you can buy a Viking broadhead arrow tip that was made according to historical models from the early Middle Ages.

This historical Viking arrowhead is sunk with the tang in the arrow shaft via a hole, which was the common method of fastening the arrowhead in the Viking Age.

This particular form of arrowhead was used by the Vikings for hunting, where the curved edge of the arrowhead was intended to prevent it from slipping off the prey.

The broad edge of the arrow tip was intended to cut muscle fibres and tendons, making it more difficult for the animal to escape.

The arrow tip is hand-forged as was customary with the Vikings and has a beautiful matt black surface.

Dimensions of the broadhead arrow tip:
Total length 14.8 cm, width 2.1 cm, tang 4.3 cm.
