Viking disc brooch in Oseberg-Style.
This beautiful Viking brooch is modelled on a Viking Age box brooch from Gotland with animal depictions in the so-called Oseberg style (also called Broa style).
You can buy the Oseberg-brooch in high-quality bronze casting or in real silver-plated.
The Viking disc brooch measures 3 cm in diameter.
On the back of the brooch is a sturdy needle, which is also suitable for stronger woollen fabrics.
The Oseberg style, also called Broa style, is an early Viking art style in Scandinavia that was common from the end of the 8th to the middle of the 9th century.
The Oseberg style appears frequently on wooden and metal utilitarian objects and jewellery from this period and is named after its guiding finds from the ship grave at Oseberg on the Oslo Fjord.
