Viking bronze stud with knot motif.
This replica of a bronze stud with knot motif in so-called Borre style was made after a historical model from the Viking Age,
Bronze studs were very common during the Viking Age and are therefore frequently found in the archaeological finds of this period.
Especially among the eastern Vikings in Sweden, Gotland and Russia, belt sets with bronze studs were frequently worn and often given as burial objects.
The Viking bronze stud measures 2 x 1.8 cm.
The fitting is therefore suitable for belts with a width of 2 to 3 cm.
The Viking stud is made of high-quality bronze casting and is also available in real silver-plated.
Fastening: There are four pins on the back of the Viking bronze stud. To attach the stud, simply pass them through the corresponding holes in the leather. It is best to use pliers to bend the tip of each pin inwards a little. If you then tap the pins flat with a hammer, the tip will sink into the leather and the Viking bronze stud will be stable and flat on the belt.
