Viking belt with buckle in the Borre style from Birka.
This Viking belt is made of high-quality cowhide of 2.5 to 3.2 mm thickness and has a bronze buckle replica with rivet plate.
The 1.5 cm wide Viking belt bears a replica of a belt buckle in so-called Borre style, which was made after a find from the Viking town of Birka in Sweden and is attached to the belt with a rivet plate, as was typical of belts of the Viking Age.
Viking belt circumference: 85 - 103 cm (total length 150 cm).
Optionally, the "Birka" Viking belt is also available with the matching strap end.
The Viking belt can be worn knotted due to its length and is therefore ideally suited for authentic garb in Viking and medieval reenactment. Two embossed lines along the sides also give the Viking belt a slender line.
The sturdy, open-edged "Birka" Viking belt is made of very hard-wearing and rustic cowhide 2.8 - 3.2 mm thick. The velvet-matt waxed belt leather acquires that natural patina over time that is so characteristic of genuine, vegetable-tanned leather. It is recognizable at first glance: This belt is distinguished by its longevity!
