Gokstad Viking belt with strap end and fittings.
Here you can buy an authentic Viking belt with buckle, strap end and three fittings from the Gokstad ship burial in Norway.
The "Gokstad" Viking belt is made of a strong cowhide of 3 to 3.5 mm thickness and is available in a length of 165 cm or 180 cm.
The generous length of the belt allows it to be worn wrapped, making it ideal for garb in LARP and Viking re-enactment.
Two embossed lines along the edges of the belt give the "Gokstad" Viking belt a slim and pleasing appearance.
Two sizes are available:
S: 165 cm - circumference 92 - 107 cm
L: 180 cm - circumference 105 - 120 cm
You can buy the "Gokstad" Viking belt in brown or black leather, with brass or silver coloured buckle and fittings made of zinc alloy.
The Gokstad Ship is one of Norway's most remarkable cultural sites. The ship was named after the Gokstad farm on which the burial mound is located, where a Viking king was buried together with it over 1000 years ago.
The Viking ship from Gokstad dates from 901 AD and can be admired today in the Vikingskipmuseet on Bygdøy in Oslo next to the no less famous Oseberg ship.
In addition to the Gokstad ship, two smaller boats and several skeletons of animals have also been recovered, as well as two peacocks, which, along with Gokstad's precious Viking belt, makes the rank of this person clear.
