Axe pendant in the shape of a Rus hammer axe.

The expressive axe pendant is modelled on a Viking hammer axe, which was very popular among the Slavs, Bulgarians and Rus.

Axe amulets are known from the time of the Vikings and Rus from various sites, and were particularly common among the eastern Vikings.

The Rus hammer axe pendant measures 4 x 2 cm.

You can buy this hammer axe pendant in bronze or in real silver-plated.
Alternatively, also available in 925 sterling silver (Please note the delivery time).
Alloy...

A black leather cord in 1 m length for the Rus axe pendant is included.

The axe was widely used by the Vikings and Rus because it was a weapon that was easy to make, required little forging skill and could also be used as a tool. In Viking times, the axe was the most important weapon of the common man, next to the spear, as hardly anyone could afford a sword at that time.
