Claddagh finger ring with red glass inlay.
This charming finger ring was made after a historical Claddagh ring and features a crowned heart with two hands..
The model for this historic finger ring dates back to the 17th century. Such a Claddagh ring is not only a beautiful piece of jewellery, it is particularly suitable as a small gift of love for couples in love.
The Claddagh ring measures 1.7 cm at its widest point and is available in 3 sizes.
The finger ring is not closed on the underside, but has parallel ends that overlap each other by approx. 1.5 cm. This means that the diameter of the ring can easily be reduced or extended by a few ring sizes - making this beautiful ring suitable for just about any finger with only three different sizes.
Ring sizes:
S = 17.3 mm - size 52 - 58
M = 19,3 mm - size 59 - 64
L = 21,3 mm - size 65 - 70
The Claddagh ring is made from high-quality bronze and is also available in real silver-plated with red glass inlay on a waffle ground.
The Claddagh ring symbolises love, friendship and loyalty. According to legend, it was first forged in the 17th century by Richard Joyce of the Irish fishing village of Claddagh after he was kidnapped by pirates.
In captivity, he created the Claddagh Ring to express his longing for his beloved. The heart symbolises love, the hands trust and the crown stands for loyalty.
