Earrings in the shape of a Viking ship.

These cute Viking ship earrings are based on the find of a pendant from the Viking Age that was found in Lillevang on the Danish island of Bornholm.

The Viking ship brooch that was the inspiration for these earrings was found in a woman's grave and dates to the 9th century. It is now in the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen.

The Bornholm Viking earring measures 3.5 x 2 cm including the ear hook.

The expressive Viking ear rings are made of high-quality bronze and are also available in genuine silver-plated.
The Bornholm earring is supplied as a pair.


Ships or boats had an important role in the Viking Age and were also often thematized in literature and art. Depictions of ships can already be found in Bronze Age rock drawings.

During the Viking Age, ship-shaped stone tombs were erected for the deceased princes, and Viking kings were even given entire wooden ships in their graves. Thus, the ship not only played an important role for the Norse in the present, but also in the Otherworld.
