Economic Viking necklace with hook closure.
Here you can buy an economic necklace in the style of the Vikings, which is equipped with a small S-hook for fastening.
The Viking necklace has a total length of 60 cm including the S-hook and eyelet, but it can also be adjusted to a smaller neck circumference.
The necklace links have a diameter of 4 mm and although the necklace appears quite delicate, it is still remarkably stable.
The Viking necklace is made of copper-plated brass.
The S-hook can easily be bent open so that you can put any pendant on the Viking necklace as long as its eyelet is larger than 4.5 mm.
Fine chains with chain links are known from several finds from the Viking Age and were worn by the Vikings either as a necklace with a pendant or in use as a brooch chain, for example with tweezers, a needle box or a key.
This Viking necklace can also be used for both purposes, as a necklace or as a brooch chain.
If the Viking chain is worn as a necklace, it can be closed at the end in full length with hook and eye, or it can simply be hooked into one of the necklace links at any point and the end simply left hanging.
In this way, this Viking necklace can be worn at any length.
If the Viking chain is to be used as a brooch chain, it can simply be hooked into a brooch in the middle or slightly offset at one of the chain links and let it hang down from there, e.g. with a needle box or tweezers.
In this use, the Viking necklace is long enough to reach comfortably to the waist or hips.
