The clasp features a filigree openwork floral motif, which makes the clasp very light and playful despite its size.

Plant motifs were very common in Renaissance figurative art and were reminiscent of the floral motifs of antiquity and the Garden of Eden, merging pagan symbolism with a Christian co-text.

Due to its size and high-quality design, the clasp is ideal for heavy capes or woollen cloaks in LARP and medieval re-enactment.

The floral clasp can be sewn onto the fabric perfectly using a needle and thread.
